This collection brings together my analog portrait photography from the 1990s and 2000s, a time shaped by subculture, sound and the people who made it.
Photographed on film, developed in the darkroom, and often first published in music magazines,
these images reflect my close work with artists and my deep connection to the scene.
From spontaneous sessions to editorial commissions,
each portrait captures more than a face, it tells part of a musical era.
All photographs are available as high-resolution digital print or as handcrafted baryt fine art prints.

FESTIVAL VIBES 2025
Inspired by an exhibition of pinhole camera photography, I began experimenting with a unique lens—crafted from an old bellows camera and parts printed in 3D.
The pinhole camera, or "Lochkamera," dates back centuries. First documented by Chinese philosopher Mozi in the 5th century BC and studied by Leonardo da Vinci during the Renaissance, it captures images through a tiny lensless aperture. This simple yet powerful method creates distinctive images with soft focus, infinite depth of field, and a dreamlike aesthetic.
My work combines historical photographic techniques with contemporary innovation, bridging the past and present in each photograph.
is a series of over 100 portraits of female musicians, taken between the early 1990s and the late 2000s. These photographs capture stories of sound, style, attitude and independence, moments of real connection.
Featured artists include M.I.A., Miss Kittin, Yelle, Lady Sovereign, Jessie Ware, Kate Nash, Peaches, Amanda Blank, Austra, Zola Jesus, Miss Platnum, CocoRosie, Teri Gender Bender, Yasmine Hamdan, Charli XCX, Beth Ditto, Roísín Murphy, Jenny Wilson, Alison Mosshart, Nina Kraviz, Lykke Li, Janelle Monáe, Ronika, Uffie, Anika, Mary Ocher, LoneLady, La Roux, Little Boots, Feist, Cat Power, Agnes Obel, Nicolette, Babes in Toyland – and many more.
As a photographer, DJ and curator, I’ve spent decades immersed in music, subculture, and visual art. This series is more than a look at extraordinary artists – it’s a visual archive of music history from a female perspective. Each portrait was created out of genuine interest, respect, and the desire to make each woman’s unique strength visible.

This unique photo book is a visual journey through the locations that shaped the sound and legacy of Joy Division. Captured on an analog Holga camera, the images evoke the raw, haunting atmosphere of the band's world — from rehearsal spaces to iconic venues.
Interwoven with the photographs are intimate handwritten texts and portraits by musicians, artists, and close companions who were inspired by or connected to Ian Curtis and Joy Division. Contributors include:
Jarvis Cocker (Pulp), Tony Wilson (Factory Records), Mark E. Smith (The Fall), Johnny Marr (The Smiths), Peter Saville (Graphic Designer), Genesis P-Orridge, and many more.
A tribute in light, shadow, and memory — this book captures the enduring influence of one of post-punk’s most iconic figures.
