Inspired by an exhibition of pinhole camera photography, I began experimenting with a unique lens—crafted from an old bellows camera and parts printed in 3D. The pinhole camera, or "Lochkamera," dates back centuries. First documented by Chinese philosopher Mozi in the 5th century BC and studied by Leonardo da Vinci during the Renaissance, it captures images through a tiny lensless aperture. This simple yet powerful method creates distinctive images with soft focus, infinite depth of field, and a dreamlike aesthetic. My work combines historical photographic techniques with contemporary innovation, bridging the past and present in each photograph.
